This is a USB cable that allows for power to be added separately, so that the camera can be powered by an external USB supply (not included) without draining the battery in the VIEW. This works with many mirrorless cameras that can be powered via USB while in use, such as newer Sony Alpha, Fuji X, and Panasonic G models.
